Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a Dual Enrollment High School. They enter their 11th grade year and when they graduate they graduate with their Associates Degree from Miami-Dade College. Being at a school for only 2 years is difficult to get to know your classmates and how to figure out being a High School student and a College student.

Mentor/Mentee day helps Juniors meet Seniors prior to the beginning of the school year.

Students spend the day teambuilding getting to know one another. As an incentive we feed them throughout the day, chips would be used while they mingle with one another.
