Mental Workout

Help me give my students an opportunity to see some of the effects of eating/fueling the body for better mental health and to also help on working on their communication skills with their peers in a productive manner.

My Project

Goal 1 of these resources are for the students to gain more awareness towards their health and nutrition and how it plays a part towards their mental health and capacity towards learning. The games that are listed are to be used for the students to think and focus to achieve the best result/outcome and compare their results/scores to when they have eaten and when they are hungry.

Goal 2 of these resources is to create and environment for healthy conversations/ connections with their peers.

Some of these games will require participation in team form(TEAM BONDING) so that they can learn how to handle socialization with peers other than their friends in a positive manner.

Ms. Reynolds Henry Kirksey Middle School Grades 6-8
