This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

New students who face a variety of challenges including trauma, separation from their home countries, poverty, and living in shelters. These students are unique in that despite these hardships, they are eager to learn, adapt, and succeed in a new environment, which is why it is often the only snack they will have in the day and they need that energy to stay focused and learn. Our main goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where these students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. By contributing snacks, you are helping hungry minds and investing in their ability to stay focused, build resilience, and succeed despite the challenges they face.
