This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project will increase mental health by giving kids artistic outlets for creativity. Art helps visual learners and helps reduce stress that occurs in daily and academic life.

I need art supplies like construction paper, sharpies, sticky notes, and staples for my low income students.

My kids come from poor families and art supplies are a luxury item that many just can't afford.

I appreciate any help offered to my classes, they are great kids, just disadvantaged in some areas. I see that even simple artistic projects in class increase learning and comprehension. Thanks for any help that you can give.
