My Project

Hygiene Products & Snacks for underserved Girls in Public School

I work with amazing classes of young girls with basic health and hygiene needs.

Help give students in our public all-girls high school in Brooklyn, NYC personal hygiene products to cover their basic need for health and, as a result, promote learning.

Please help me provide students in the public all-girls high school where I work in personal hygiene products.

This project will be part of a pantry of supplies for our young women to take when they need to cover their basic health needs.

The items include important products such as pads, deodorants, lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Although essential, these products can be expensive and out of reach to students from low-income families.

Kids spend so much of their time in school, so it is important we help fill in that gap. This will in turn promote learning by covering a very basic need.

Finally, this project also includes snacks for our students. Hungry students are more likely to sleep in class, have difficulty focusing during a lesson and have overall less energy to learn. This project will help fulfill that basic need as well. Thank you!
