This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the support of donor chose, I will be able to create a calming space for high school students to access. I provide mental health services to vulnerable youth in South La and at times they need a safe space to process those feelings. With these material I will be able to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which students are able to feel comfortable to come to school and know that there is someone to provide them support with those socio-emotional needs. The overall goal, is to increase mental health support and awareness.
