My Project

I would like to create a peaceful, inviting classroom environment for my Algebra, Geometry, and advisory classes where students are comfortable taking risks and asking questions. Floor cushions create flexible seating for students who may want to move around during class or need a change from sitting at their desks all day. Posters contribute to a warm classroom environment and help students gain new knowledge. Stickers and fidget toys can also help with stress relief. I think conversation cards and games help to build community during advisory and can help students get to know each other and learn to manage their emotions. I would also like to make snacks available for students who need them if they don't have a chance to have breakfast or lunch.
