Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students that I work with are amazing in many aspects. These products will provide them with a relaxing, safe place. The mirror will be used for them to feel more confident since they will have daily quotes written on it every day. They will also use creativity to relax. Crafts can be created with tissue paper, and the journals will help them write down their thoughts. Fidget spinners will be used when students are feeling anxious about a test or any other scenario where they feel overwhelmed. The salt lamp and oil infuser will provide relaxing energy for students, as well as breathing exercise tools.
The flashcards will help these students grow their social skills since they are English Language Learners.
The games will also help these students bond with other students and connect with them, so their social circle can grow. The cabinet will help with storing these items.
