Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach students who have a tendency to come to school hungry. They skip breakfast or stop at the store to buy a soda and chips. The school provides a small breakfast and lunch but it is not enough for the long day the students dedicate to their studies. I also teach a lot of athletes who are completely out of energy by the afternoon classes. This donation would benefit all of my students and would provide them with the mental and physical energy they need to be at their best for their studies and for their athletic teams.

I spend so much of my own money (on a teacher salary) to buy them snacks and bake food for them for their birthdays.

This donation would be so helpful to defray the cost of this constant demand.
