Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Mental health is a big issue that troubles our youth today. These resources will be a way to help these high schoolers navigate this stressful time of year. With the use of these mental health resources my students will be able to relieve the daily stress and anxieties that plague so many youth.

My students will be able to find a way to ease into the day and start with a fresh and stress free day.

They will be more engaged as they focus on the lessons of the day, rather than the stressors that overwhelm them daily. With the use of these fun, interactive tools my students will feel at ease knowing that they can start their day feeling fresh and renewed. The touchscreen smart calendar will help the students keep track of their daily mindfulness practices. The WEA Panic at the Disco will help them relax to some good music. The goal of this project is to help the students relieve their stress and anxieties. The Calm Ball, Therapy Games, and Conversation Cubes will help them build a strong relationship with their classmates as well as help them ease into their Sophomore year. Through these items I hope that the students build a lifelong bond with each other and help each other strive for excellence within their high school career.
