My Project

In the bustling environment of urban high schools, creating spaces where students can learn about and engage in mental and physical health is essential. My project aims to transform our school’s wellness approach by introducing singing bowls, a Gaga pit, and poly spots, which will significantly benefit our students.

Singing bowls provide a unique auditory experience that promotes relaxation and mindfulness.

Integrating them into our school environment will offer students a calming tool for stress management and mental clarity. The soothing vibrations can help students reduce anxiety, enhance focus, and cultivate emotional resilience.

The Gaga pit, a dynamic and inclusive play area, will foster physical activity and social interaction. It’s an engaging way for students to participate in cooperative exercise, which is vital for physical health. Beyond just exercise, the Gaga pit encourages teamwork, builds confidence, and offers a playful outlet for stress relief.

Additionally, poly spots will be used to facilitate teamwork and collaboration during physical activities and games. These versatile markers will help students engage in cooperative exercises and group challenges, promoting unity, communication, and collective problem-solving. This collaborative approach not only enhances physical fitness but also builds essential social skills.

Together, these elements will create a holistic environment where students can explore mental and physical well-being, build confidence, and manage stress effectively. Your support will help us provide these essential tools and create a safe, supportive space for all students to thrive.
