Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are goofy, silly, funny, emotional, frustrated, energetic, impulsive, and craving someone to care about them. My classroom consists of ten students with special needs and 15 students of mixed English language learners and general education students. This makes it difficult to meet the various needs of the students in my classroom.

I do my very best to make each child feel special and assure them they can do it.

My school has a huge population of low socioeconomic students, as well as children in shelters. It would be great to give these students a chance and an opportunity to meet their optimal potential.

My Project

My students would love to have a case for their Karaoke Speakers. Karaoke and all kinds of music are fantastic expressive forms of all our million emotions.

With all that is happening right now, Social Emotional Learning is of the utmost importance.

More than ever, our little ones are in dire need of various modalities to express their fears, worries and sadness. Having a case for our speakers will allow us to move our music to outdoor spaces. Having nature around us while immersed in music is just the mental-health break we all need.

We will use the laminating pouches to label our case so everyone knows it's our voices they are hearing!

Your donations will allow us to be free and let our voices be heard everywhere.
