My Project

All of these books and games will be used in my counseling sessions to help promote social emotional learning and mental health coping skills. I work with a diverse group of kids in a public middle school in the Los Angeles Unified School District. The kids I see for counseling are struggling with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and behavioral disorders. Having a variety of fun games and activities helps them to have fun while they are learning the coping skills needed to be a successful student with academics and their social-emotional development.
