Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Last year, I launched a club dedicated to emphasizing the critical importance of mental health. This year, I am determined to elevate this initiative even further, expanding our network of passionate students who champion both their own well-being and that of others.

My vision is to cultivate a nurturing environment where students can openly address their anxiety, stress, and everyday challenges, all while acquiring valuable coping skills and discovering uplifting hobbies.

With your support, I aim to provide essential resources that will empower our students in their mental health journey. By securing funding for this project, we can offer them tools such as journals for creative expression, stress balls for immediate relief, and supplies for therapeutic activities. Imagine students crafting personalized bracelets with words that resonate deeply with them, a tangible reminder of their strength and resilience.

This project getting funded would mean a little extra support for my wonderful students and our Mental Health, Minds Matter Movement.
