My Project

The items that I have chosen will help me create a Sensory Therapy room for my students. Since the pandemic our students have had difficulty with self-regulation and can become overstimulated very easily.

My students need a safe space, where they can talk about how they are feeling and be able to calm down when they become frustrated.

With the new therapy room, students will have a place to decompress and regroup before returning back to class. Some of the items that I have chosen are a small sofa, therapy games, books and sensory toys.
