This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in great need of items and supplies to improve their mental health in school. They've been through so many ups and downs and have been taught to persevere through times of uncertainty; however, some students struggle. Help me to create a welcoming space where students can go to when they need to take a mental break, a place where they can express themselves, talk to a friend, take part in mental awareness activities, calm down and regain composure, or just chill and relax. Allow me to continue to give necessary items to allow students to feel confident and stress/worry free. Students need to know that their mental health and well being is important and is the key for leading a happy life.
