My Project

Mental health has become an epidemic, especially for teens and especially after the pandemic. I would like to add some mental health reading resources into my lessons next year. I have requested two different resources to help include mental health into our curriculum.

Additionally, our open enrollment, trauma-informed alternative school has seen a huge influx of LGBTQ+ students, and I would like my library to better represent their experiences.

I have added several titles over the last couple of years, and these have gone over extremely well, but some students have run out of graphic novels and have asked for more! I am asking for several more LGBTQ+ graphic novels to add to my collection per their requests.
