My Project

Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Blanchard and I teach at a low income high school in Chicago Public Schools. One of my passions as a teacher has always been to support students in more than just academic ways, and I need your support in doing so.

I want to make sure that my student's mental health is supported every day.

Help me create a positive classroom environment to make sure that my students are supported in more ways than academics! I teach high school history, and high schoolers' mental health is so important and should be made a priority for them. I want to utilize things like positive affirmation coloring to give students brain breaks and refocus them on a positive attitude.
