Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am creating a DonorsChoose project to support my students’ mental health and well-being by ensuring they have access to essential items and a comfortable classroom. The items I’m requesting, such as folders, motivational posters, and fidget toys will help students focus on their learning rather than being distracted. Having access to these essentials will alleviate stress, build confidence, and ensure students feel cared for. My goal is to create an environment where every student can engage fully in their education, feeling secure and comfortable. My students are special because they come from diverse backgrounds and often face challenges outside of school, yet they demonstrate resilience and drive to succeed. By providing them with these resources, I hope to show them that their well-being matters, and create a space where they can thrive both academically and personally.
