This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teen mental health is a human right that needs to be nurtured on a daily basis. It is especially vital when dealing with immigrant/refugee children. Mental health includes the emotional, social, and psychological well-being of a person.

I want to create an environment that fosters positive mental health, where my immigrant/refugee students can reset.

I want to provide snacks, drinks, and a relacing space in my classroom. These snacks not only nourish their bodies but also contribute to a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Your support is vital in helping us maintain and expand this vital initiative. Together, we can provide them with the safe space they need to thrive emotionally and academically.
