Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since Covid-19 there has been an alarming increase in mental health. My students often carry the burden of problems from home while at school. It diminishes their positive outlook, causes depression, and places a burden on their ability to focus.

This year, the students will have the opportunity to take mental health breaks while in the classroom.

With the purchase of puzzles, coloring posters, and sand timers, the students will be able to move into the mental health corner and take a much-needed self break before getting back to their class work.
