My Project

Rates of anxiety and depression are higher than ever among high school students. Our juniors and senior are under incredible pressure to perform well academically and are stretched thin by college applications, scholarship, AP testing, and leadership positions in clubs.

When students have down time, they usually become engrossed in technology unless they have a healthy alternative readily available.

By providing students with engaging puzzles and games, they can get off their devices, socialize, and actually recharge their mental/social batteries so they can achieve their goals.

This project includes a variety of analog, tactile, and socially demanding games, mostly targeted for high school students, but also some differentiated for students who may struggle with literacy. The goal of this project is to promote inclusion, healthy rest, and a positive classroom culture that will foster mental health among an increasingly stressed out population of students.
