This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are looking to obtain some technology to incorporate into our counseling department. This will be used to help students who are having a tough day get back on track and hopefully back to class where they can be successful.
In today's educational world, technology is a sense of comfort for students and this will help us relate to them.
We will use the iPad for students to be able to journal, play mind-calming activities and apps, and sign in to and out of the counseling office. Students often just need a distraction and a brief escape from what's troubling them and this will help us do that.
