My Project

Mental health begins in the classroom. My primary goal is to make our classroom feel like a home and this starts with meeting some of my student's basic needs, making sure they have the necessary items to be successful like pens and highlighters, books when they need an escape from their work, and snacks to make sure their bellies are full.

When student's basic needs are met in the classroom, this provides them the opportunity to be successful.

This project is all about basic needs, and how this will positively impact their mental health during their time together in our classroom!
