Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Talking openly about mental health can reduce the misconceptions and stigma, and can encourage those who are suffering to seek help and find a support network. It's important for caregivers, friends, and loved ones to understand the impact that mental health has on daily life.

Activities for mental heath awareness will include campus wide activities of game days, art times and learning about mindful breaths.

Students will engage in painting and drawing in color, blowing bubbles and using their breath to regulate emotions. Students will also gain skills by playing games and interacting with others.
