My Project

Working in a low income area and helping special education students thrive and connect through social emotional learning and education! I help support teachers and students by offering them both a comforting and safe space to feel comfortable sharing their concerns. Many students find comfort through sensory items and mindfulness coloring and are more open to sharing about their feelings and how I can best support them with the help of their teachers and other staff members. My students are often hungry as well and benefit from any snacks that I can provide them so that they can return to class refocused and ready to attend to instruction.
