Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

WHEELS is our students' home away from home! Coming from surrounding cities our classroom can be their escape from home. Here they get to not only experience college-level academics through, but also connect with their community of peers and (teachers) who support them.

By funding this project you're allowing me to provide students with materials to create shining school spirit and also encourage more hands-on learning.

These materials will be used to help students experience the content of AP Environmental Science through a community-based water testing lab, to be able to decompress and destress by listening to music while completing projects, and to provide our cheer team with needed supplies. All of these things will help students enjoy their learning and improve their connection to school and extra-curricular activities.
