Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

No student should worry about obtaining menstrual products during the school day. Access to menstrual hygiene products can provide students with peace of mind and promote proper health and hygiene. Without access to menstrual pads, students may use inappropriate materials, such as toilet paper that don't provide adequate protection and increase the risk of health issues.

Help me support my students in accessing menstrual products and bilingual educational resources to learn and cope with feelings about puberty and embrace body positivity.

The menstrual pads, liners, and sanitary napkin disposable bags ensure students can manage their menstrual period hygienically and sanitarily. The bilingual books Celebrate Your Body (and Its Changes, Too!): The Ultimate Puberty Book for Girls and Solo Para Chicos (Just For Boys) ¿Qué me está pasando? Mi pubertad are guides that assist students in understanding what to expect during puberty and offer coping strategies to manage the emotions and changes experienced during puberty. The tic tac toe game is a fun way for students to practice techniques such as mindfulness for emotional regulation. The self-esteem ball can aid in addressing the impact of puberty on self-esteem and overall mood.

These menstrual hygiene products and resources will directly impact students’ ability to focus on their education instead of worrying about accessing essential materials. Thank you for your generous donation in support of educational resources and necessary menstrual products for our students.
