My Project

Students in classrooms may be distracted especially in high school. They have so many thoughts running through their minds, such as their other classes, personal lives, past/ present trauma, friendships, hobbies, physical distractions like hunger or tiredness, and so much more. When students are sidetracked by these or any other issues, their own education and accomplishment may be prioritized below their more immediate needs. These products that I have selected for my students will help enrich my students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being. The snacks will help provide additional nourishment throughout the day. The motivational coloring books and art supplies will help attend to their emotional/mental well-being if they need strategies/tools to help cope when they need to take a break. The bean bag will provide a comfy place to relax, reflect, and regulate their emotions. The cleaning supplies will help make sure they have a clean and neat learning environment. The technology will help provide opportunities for students to be creative and innovative. With your support and all of these amazing resources, we will be able to help further accelerate their academic learning and development.
