My Project

Some days, my students look to my classroom for help meeting their basic needs. Students need water, rest, and calming strategies to focus and learn.

By supplying me with the supplies listed, students will feel prepared to learn each day in my classroom.

The water bottles will help students feel like they are getting enough water without us going through multiple cups a day. Many students can't provide a water bottle from their home.

The pillows and loungers would provide students an escape to collect themselves or get some rest they may not have had the night before.

The headphones would give students the necessary supplies to participate in technology learning. I have multiple students who are unable to provide headphones or have broken them and can't replace them.

Finally, the weighted and calming tools will help some of my students who have big feelings and trauma. When students have big feelings, they cannot learn or focus until they have the tools to relax.
