My Project

This year I will have new language learners who desperately need to have lower level books that they can read. After many years of teaching 3rd-grade students on or close to grade level, this year I will have many new language learners.

I have resources available to teach them how to read in small groups with my support but have an insufficient amount of books for them to read independently.

Having books my students can read independently is crucial to their success. Practicing on their own with a reading partner or at home will help them achieve their goals. Not only learning a new language but instilling a love for reading ( my ultimate goal)!
