My fourth graders are excited and eager to learn independently and it is my goal is to help them continue to grow and develop by providing active, current, and lively science activities in our classroom! Some of my students struggle with staying on grade level science materials and can become frustrated with fourth grade materials. I wanted to meet students were they are with these great hands on science kits and help them move up to grade level materials. Thank you so much for your help with my classes! Much is expected from fourth graders with reading as well as reading in all their other subject areas. Not only do I want to get these games and activities to challenge them to learn, I also want them to have time to interact with each other and independently with these science tools!
My Project
I'm so excited to request the complete meet the standards hands-on science kits for third grade students. I am thankful to use this with kids that struggle with fourth grade materials and can become frustrated to read on grade level. By having these third grade kits to use with my struggling fourth grade students, I can meet the students at their reading level and help them move on and become more confident in their learning. The kits include force and motion physical science kit, weather and climate earth science kit, and habitats life science kit, which would enhance our current fourth grade science curriculum as well.
