Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are seeking flexible seating that allows them to develop critical lifelong skills, including problem-solving, flexibility and creativity. Not all students learn the same way and can sit in a chair for long periods of time.

Inflexible seating over extended periods of time can lead to fatigue, drowsiness, discomfort, inattention, increased misbehavior, and poor posture.

Students need to be and to move throughout the day. Seeing my students focused and engaged in learning is rewarding beyond measure. Learning environments have a direct impact on student’s achievement. When students have control of their environment, it becomes more personal and allows for ownership.

The wobble stools and yoga ball seats provide alternative or flexible seating for students who find it challenging to sit in a traditional chair all day. You can be a part of something great by helping our students thrive.
