Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Snacks, sanitary essentials, and fidgets can significantly benefit students by promoting both their physical and mental well-being. Snacks, for example, help to fuel students’ brains and bodies throughout the day, that can improve concentration and focus in class. When students are able to grab a snack when necessary, they are better equipped to manage their energy levels, avoid distractions from hunger, and engage more fully in their learning. These small yet important items can create a sense of comfort and stability, allowing students to stay on top of their academic responsibilities.

Snacks, sanitary essentials and fidgets can contribute to a more positive and stress-free school experience.

Having access to items like, wipes, deodorant and menstrual products ensures students' comfort and hygiene, preventing disruptions to their day due to unexpected needs. Fidget tools, on the other hand, help students manage restlessness or anxiety, providing a non-disruptive outlet for excess energy and helping them focus during lessons or even while in session with a school counselor. Together, these items support students in managing their personal well-being and mental health, which ultimately creates a more conducive environment for learning and overall growth.
