My Project

Learning about measurement is important in third grade but often this is done with posters and worksheets. My students are unable to see and experiment with measuring!

Physical measuring tools will help my students better understand the concept!

They will be able to pour and measure a variety of materials and see how it compares in different containers. They will be ranked to play games to build upon the skills they are learning and play games to help them compare length and weight of objects. Measuring tape will allow them to measure things around them! This will help them fully understand the measurement standards!
