Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The equipment we are requesting would help these student athlete be more involved in the team. These equipment would help the students continue to want to show up and be proactive. It helps them be focused on sports and school work since they’ll be on campus. This keeps these students in a safe area with adult supervision for a long time where they’ll have only positive influences. This group of student athletes are emotionally invested in this team and have put in so much work to make sure this season is a successful one. These students have been showing so much discipline in being a student athlete and in my eyes they deserve any help they can get. They are very appreciative for everything and will make the most out of any small thing. Many of these students are first generation students whose parents migrated from another country so they understand what sacrifice is and how not to let opportunities fly by them. These students are the definition of hard working and I have never been prouder to be a coach whenever I am with them. The equipment I am requesting will play a big part for the students during practice. When it comes to pinnies, it helps us do many drills that requires different teams and using these pinnies would allow us to easily make teams. The small soccer goals would help us with small sided games and drills. The poles and cones would help us set up drills since our current cones are low on numbers and our poles broke since we had gotten cheap quality since that was all we can afford. And of course we need balls because we hardly have any since they ripped over last season.
