This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My scholars are the nation's next leaders. Everyday, students are engaged in mathematics, science, engineering, and technology based curriculum and projects. Their increasing curiosity in STEM related professions are beyond imaginative as they strive to become extraordinary students.

My students are confident in the approach to learning and are constantly seeking new ways to demonstrate their creative and intellectual strengths.

They exhibit high levels of motivation and work extremely hard to be successful in everything they put their minds to.

My Project

As students matriculate from Pre-K through fifth grade, we want to ensure that their learning experiences are unforgettable. Implementing core content while allowing learners to express their creativity, originality, and ability to critical thinking are just a few our instructional goals. It is essential that our learners have access to products that gives them the opportunity to stimulate their minds, contributing to their cognitive and intellectual growth.

Hands-on inquiry based learning across content areas encourages students to explore curricular materials and create original products.

With the purchase of the 3Doodler, this will magnify our STEM program by adding art to the curriculum, incorporating new discoveries that will transcend across mathematics and science lessons. Also, this will be a cost affordable and efficient way for students to learn about 3-D printing and its many features. Students will use the 3Doddle in mathematics to create concrete geometric figures. In addition, students will be able to use the 3Doddle for science fair purposes, centers, or possibly present their creation at our school's STEM Magnet night.
