Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing human beings! They are full of life and have endless potential to do so many wonderful things. My school is a Title I school in a poverty-stricken​ community.

Our school consists of a very large English language learner population.

All of our students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of our parents struggle to help meet the needs of school supplies and the needs of their children. Regardless of these circumstances, my students overcome! They are learning how to face challenges and grow stronger academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them for the next level of life.

I believe that these students deserve every opportunity this world has to offer and I am determined to help them get it. These students can change the world with their brilliant minds and can climb out of the cycle of poverty through the gift of education. They will learn that the world is theirs for the taking with hard work, dedication, and knowledge.

My Project

Recess has many benefits. It gives students opportunities to build friendships, take brain breaks, and use collaborative skills. For those three reasons, I created this project and believe it's very important.

When students are playing, sharing, and having fun together outside, they'll support, respect, and learn with each other inside the classroom.

Fribees, tic tac toe, and chess are just some of the games that require more than one person. After the last project, I've noticed how much more focused and on task the students are I know with your help, these items will help do the same too!
