Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Maus II will allow young people to understand the horrors of the Holocaust and the lasting effects the tragedy has on survivor, their family, and the Jewish Community.

Student will also understand the conditions of which lead to this horror, fascism.

Additionally, students will become aware of their role in stopping these atrocities from happened in the future.

Our goals are to bring awareness to the plight of minority groups while allowing young people to make connection to who those people are in our days and times.

This is special because the student will gain intellectual knowledge while incorporating themes of empathy and other social and emotions concepts. Our aim is to develop the social-emotional awareness of young people we serve.
