My Project

My students are extra special because they are taking a 2nd math class in place of an elective to be and feel confident and meet grade level standards. This year our school is adopting a 6+ course which covers both 6th & 7th grade standards with the goal being that when they are 8th graders they will be enrolled in Algebra. This is a big jump for most students but for ones not near grade level, it is a very big ask.

My students need to grow their interest and perseverance in maths to be successful which involves necessary struggle that we know translates into conceptual understanding.

Please support us by both enriching our classroom environment as well as growing a community where we learn and play strategic logic games and build and learn about scale models.
