Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Please help our kids achieve an education they deserve. They need to embrace social studies and math skills to apply to their everyday experiences. Don't let our kids drown in boredom.
My students are a great bunch of kids.
They love to sing, dance, and create crazy skits. They are a diverse group; some English Language Learners, some special needs students, many coming from low income families. They range from ages 9 to 11 years old. They are very energetic and extremely kind to each other.
My Project
These resources would engage my students in learning and fun. The two go hand in hand, and it would be great to show them how. These math games and social studies literature would amaze them. They are such visual and auditory learners. I observe how excited they get when they hear they are about to play a game.
I am currently specializing in math and social studies with my students.
As the drop-out rate increases and the school budget deficit grows, my students (as well as others) are paying the price. Shouldn't children have the opportunity to share memories of how great elementary school was for them when they get older?
Nearly all students from low‑income households
