My 2nd-grade students are superstar leaders and are a group of amazing and caring individuals that are learning more and more every day. My students are hands-on learners that love getting up and moving around. Math is one of my student's favorite subjects.
My students love using manipulatives when we work with math!
Math can be hard at times and manipulatives help us solve problems by being hands-on. We use manipulatives when we can, and I would love to be able to give my superstar students even more manipulatives to work and practice with.
My Project
These math manipulatives will be used to enhance my student's math skills. My students enjoy working with math, especially when they're able to learn hands-on. These tools will help them build a concrete understanding of foundational math skills that they need before moving onto third grade.
Students can learn much better whenever they're able to interact hands-on with materials.
I want to give every student in my classroom a chance to help enhance their math skills and I know these manipulatives will be a big help. My students always treat their tools with care, so I will be using these manipulatives for many years to come.
