Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

During the school year, I was teaching 23 students in all content area but now during remote teaching I am teaching 43 students in math. My students are learning via Google Classroom. Most of my students a have access to internet and submit assignments on a regular basis.

My Project

When we started this remote learning, I was recording lessons and uploading them for my students to watch at their own convenience. Now that I have gotten a better handle of remote teaching, I decided take on live virtual teaching.

As I was teaching math to my students, I realized I need a bigger board, my students need a sense of normalcy and they want to see my draw and model out my thinking like we used to in class.

I want to be able to give them that. I want my students to feel like we are at the meeting area and tackling a problem together.
