My Students

My students are creative thinkers, energetic learners and are compassionate. I work in school with large concentrations of low-income students who receive supplemental funds to assist in meeting their educational goals.

In our classroom we come together to grow as learners.

We spend each day investigating, designing, and developing our strategies and skills.

Our classroom setting has been developed to provide a warm inviting place for students to want to learn and succeed in. I try to incorporate items into our class environment that will promote creativity, abstract thinking, and inclusive environment.

My Project

We are starting a new math program this school year and I would like to create "Student Tool Kits" to promote mathematical exploration with hands-on opportunities.

With a new math program beginning soon,​ we need to have an organized way to store and utilize manipulatives! Math Tool Kits created for each student is a wonderful way to make learning engaging and fun! Students will have the opportunity to always have the learning at their fingertips!
