My Students

Have you ever been in math class and gotten stuck on a problem? These math tools will help my students to succeed in math.

My students are of mixed abilities.

They are in 4th grade in a public school in Queens. They attend a Title I school. My students are eager to learn new things. They come from many different countries and English is not always their first language. My class is homogeneously mixed.

My Project

These math materials will help for math to come alive in my classroom. By playing games my students are able to practice their math skills in a fun and exciting way. Math games make learning fun. With these calculators and dice we will be able to play many games during our weekly period of math games. It is important to make learning fun to inspire children to want to grow as learners and expand their mathematical knowledge.

These materials will make such a difference in the lives my students.

They will gain confidence in their ability as mathematicians and will enjoy learning new and difficult math concepts.
