Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach an inclusion classroom, which comprises of nine to eleven-year-old female and male students. I team teach with one partner. I teach Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. My students are energetic and eager to learn which makes my job fun and rewarding.

The students are creative individuals, who like to find innovative methods to solve problems.

They like to work in teams and use technology to increase their collaborative learning. They are great individuals who have great futures ahead of them.

My Project

This project was put together to help my students progress through their independent skills by providing them with concrete materials that will enable them to be able to self check. These materials will be differential and provides a framework for the students to excel. These materials allow the students to work independently or in small groups to master their basic fact fluency. These centers can be taken to their seats which will help decrease the close proximity of their work stations. The scholars will be able to have fun while learning how to increase their fluency.
