Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many students in my classroom do not have technology at home and they only receive computer class once a week. We need more technology in our classroom to help practice for state and district testing.

I currently teach math, science, and social studies to 80 amazingly talented, energetic, and enthusiastic learners.

Our school district is currently 100% free and reduced. This means that our students do not always have the same advantages as their peers. The majority of our students are also English language learners. As teachers, we work very hard to provide them with as many opportunities as possible.

My Project

We plan to use these tablets during small group sessions. The students will be able to use district websites to work on math and reading concepts. They will practice their writing skills and will use them to help research and discover new science and social students concepts.

Your donations will allow my students to have more access to technology in the classroom.

As they continue in their school, technology will continue to become an important part of their learning. By giving them the skills at an early age, you will be giving them an advantage that many of their peers already have.
