My Students

My students are curious, enthusiastic, and creative; they are eager to begin learning. My group of students this year are very thoughtful and full of questions!

They absolutely enjoy being active and engaging in hands-on projects that allow them to use their problem-solving strategies.

They come to school each day ready to grow. They are a group of sweet, caring 8 year olds. And although many are nervous about being in a testing grade level; they are constantly showing great perseverance and responsibility.

My Project

All of these school materials will help continue to enrich my student's learning. My students love being able to work their math problems out on the classroom whiteboard; being able to give them dry erase lapboards will help keep them excited and engaged for all of our learning this year.

As a teacher, I find it my responsibility to instill a love for reading to each one of my students; part of motivating them to be eager to read is having a welcoming cozy library with a wide selection of books; especially books that all students can read, even my English language learners!

My classroom library is a place that my students should be able to enjoy all throughout the school year. It is a place where I can read to them, where they can complete their work, and where they can read independently!
