Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a math interventionist for 1st-5th grade at my school, working in small groups with students. Students learn best when doing hands on math. All of the materials I am requesting will help provided this instruction for my students.

The base-ten kit will allow students to physically connect the pieces to model numbers.

The lamination pouches will allow us to make various place value mats, and organizers to use with students. The headphones will be used with students have completed there small group task early and have earned time to play instruction math games on their chromebook that go with our curriculum.
