My Students

What better way to develop math skills then through engaging books that bring concepts to life! My students are in need of some math literature.

We are a class of 7th and 8th grade special needs students in a high poverty area.

We attend a public inner city school and as we are all well aware, our funding has been majorly cut! These students are struggling in both reading and math. What better way to grasp the needed life skills in math then through engaging literature.

My Project

Through these literature books the students will learn basic math concepts from counting to fractions to money skills. All these skills are things that they will carry over to real life situations. Without these skills the students would have difficulty with the simple daily life tasks that we take for granted.

Through your generosity we will be teaching these students the much needed skills for life.

This will help them become productive members of society and thus succeed in life! It is through donors like you that our young people will succeed!
